The Miami Marlins look to be buyers in the upcoming trade deadline as they are currently sitting in second place in the National League East and the Wild Card. Why would they want to trade arguably their best play in Jorge Soler? It's simple, Soler is a free agent after this season, and they could net a very large return for him, as he currently is second in the National League in home runs. Wouldn't that crush any chance of the Marlins making or doing well in the playoffs? Not necessarily.
