A Yelich catch saved two runs and the Braves were making good contact off of Latos all night, as he was leaving a lot of pitches up in the zone Latos’ key to the night was picking up strikeouts when he needed them the most. Latos missed a tag on the game tying run at home plate, which knocks down his grade as well. The 5 strikeouts were nice to see and his velocity was better than his last start, so there is something to build on there.
. SP. Miami Marlins. MAT LATOS

C. Stats: 2.0 IP, 2 H, 0 ER, 2 BB, 1 SO
Sam Dyson came into the game in a pressured packed situation, with runners on second and third, with nobody out in a tied ballgame. Back-to-back singles on first pitches from Dyson gave the Braves a 3-1 lead. After loading the bases, Dyson was able to induce a ground out to get out of the inning without further damage.
. RP.
