Now it’s time to get crazy, I think the Marlins should go after Troy Tulowitzki

There have been rumors for about a year now about Tulo wanting out of Colorado and those rumors started to heat up again last week.

So if the Marlins are in full-out win now mode, then why not make the move?

Yes I know Adeiny Hechavarria has made improvements and looks like he is almost becoming the shortstop the Marlins thought he’d be.

However, Tulo would be a huge upgrade for the team and I’m not giving up on Hech either.

In this hypothetical trade offer, I’m hoping the Brewers won’t want anyone on the active roster (which is unlikely), but this is the offer I’d throw at Colorado. (Assuming the other two trades don’t happen)

Miami gets- Tulo

Colorado gets- Tyler Kolek, Jose Urena, Trevor Williams, Derek Dietrich, Justin Nicolino and Adam Conley.

In this scenario the Marlins would move Hech to third base and Martin Prado to first.

Yes, this is fairy tale stuff. The Rockies would no doubt ask the Marlins for Christian Yelich in any Tulo trade and if I’m the Marlins I say “no” to that.

What do you think of all this? Do you like these potential moves or not? Who would you want the Marlins to acquire? Let me know in the comment section below!
