Now to the great Giancarlo Stanton. Being a 3x All-Star and MVP runner-up, Stanton has established himself as an elite Major League player.

2011: .262/.365/.537 34 HRs and a WAR of 4.3.

2012: .290/.361/.608 37 HRs and a 5.5 WAR

2013: .249/.365/.480 24  HRs and a 2.5 WAR

2014: .288/.396/.555 37 HRs and a 6.2 WAR

2015: .265/.346/606 27 HRs (hasn’t played since June 27th) and a 3.9 WAR.

Stanton possesses a 24.9 career WAR, which ranks 12th in the MLB since he came into the league in 2010. Rumors of trading Mike Dunn and Brad Hand may leave Stanton as the lone Florida Marlin come Opening Day 2016.
