Miami Marlins Players to Watch

SS Miguel Rojas

Rojas appeared in two games during the previous weekend series in Tampa Bay where he went 1-for-7 with a home run. Across his last 18 games, Rojas has slashed .271/.311/.400 with two home runs and 11 RBI’s.

2B Jazz Chisholm Jr

Chisholm enjoyed a strong series against the Rays where had two multi-hit games with two doubles. Still three home runs away from a 20/20 season with a week remaining, can Chisholm add to his season total against New York?

OF Bryan De La Cruz

De La Cruz went 3-for-4 during Saturday’s contest in Tampa Bay, and has posted an .811 OPS across his last 22 games. For the season, the 24-year-old has slashed .314/.376/.463 with five home runs and 19 RBI’s.

OF Jesus Sanchez

Sanchez continued a phenomenal month of September over the weekend by collecting four hits in three games against the Rays. Across the last month, the rookie outfielder has slashed .268/.344/.573 with seven home runs and 18 RBI’s.

RP Dylan Floro

The right-hander worked his second consecutive scoreless outing in Sunday’s 3-2 loss to Tampa Bay. For the season, Floro sports a 6-6 record with a 3.00 ERA and 12 saves across 60 innings pitched.
