Born in the same year as the Marlins franchise, Max was destined to be a fan for life. As a South Florida native he lives and breathes with the entire Miami sports scene. Max received his undergraduate degree in Accounting at the University of Florida and is currently a graduate student at Columbia University focusing on data analytics in sports. Fascinated by the recent explosion of data and the sabermetric approach to evaluating player performance, Max looks to challenge and advance the use of statistics within baseball through his writings.
