As the off-season is already under way for the Miami Marlins, we're waiting for free agency to actually start. There's already a rumored target for The Fish, although he might not be very realistic. The Atlanta Braves are major division rivals for The Fish, and have some big option decisions to make. They also have an interesting arbitration class, that lacks stars and will unlikely cost the team too much.

Interesting arbitration class for Miami Marlins division rivals.

OF Ramon Laureano is one of the six players in the Atlanta Braves arbitration class. Laureano split the 2024 season between the Cleveland Guardians and Atlanta. He batted .259/.311/.437, with 11 home runs and 33 RBI in 98 games and 286 AB. He was worth 1.3 WAR for that performance. He's projected for a $6.1 million salary, which is why I expect him to be non-tendered.

Right-handed relief pitcher Huascar Ynoa only appeared in 2 games. He pitched to a 13.50 ERA/7.31 FIP, with 10.8 K/9 and 8.1 BB/9. He's projected for an $825 K salary next season. Depending on what they think of him, it could go either way. I suspect he'll be tendered.

Utility hitter Cavan Biggio is projected for $4.3 million. The former top prospect with the Toronto Blue Jays batted .197/.314/.303 between the Toronto Blue Jays, Los Angeles Dodgers and Atlanta. He's certainly getting non-tendered.

OF Jarred Kelenic is projected for $2.3 million. The former top prospect with the Seattle Mariners and New York Mets, batted .231/.286/.393 with 15 home runs and 45 RBI, in 131 games and 412 AB. It wasn't ideal production from him, but with the price they paid for him last off-season and the projected cost, I expect him to stay.

Left-handed relief pitcher Dylan Lee and OF Eli White are the next ones in the arbitration class. White batted .282/.333/.436, with a home run and 4 RBI in 35 games and 39 AB. Lee pitched to a sparkling 2.11 ERA/3.00 FIP, with 11.5 K/9 and 2.6 BB/9 in 52 games and 59.2 innings pitched. Lee is projected for $1.2 million and White for $800 K. I expect both to be tendered contracts.
