This is the time for prospect lists and finding out how the Miami Marlins and divisional rivals are affected. The latest list that I'm looking at is from Fangraphs. It's interesting to see how it differs from other lists, and what Fish prospects are on the list at this point. A total of five prospects ended up on this list.
Five Miami Marlins players are on the Fangraphs top 100 prospects list.
Prospect lists are subjective. These are just opinions, and we don't know which of the prospects will actually become stars. We don't know who actually will make it to the Majors and who for lack of a better word will become a bust. The stronger the farm system of course, the more likely that there will be impact making starters on the list at the end of the day.
So who are the Miami Marlins prospects on the Fangraphs list? At the top of the list is none other than catching/first base prospect Agustin Ramirez. He's listed at number 43 on the list is the highest Fish prospect on the list. I fully expect Agustin to be called up during the upcoming season and to make an impact. He has a great power bat, and we're just hoping that it can translate to the Major League level.
Next on the list at #69 is AA catcher Joe Mack. Mack could end up the catcher of the future for the Marlins. I'm a big fan of his and hope that he will impress. His ETA is currently the 2026 season. At the 83'rd spot on the list is SP Thomas White. We might not see him until the 2027 season, but when we do he just might turn into an ace for the team.
Rounding out the list are two prospects at the #87 and #97 on the list. First, there is SS Starlyn Caba. Caba might just be the best defender in the Minor Leagues and has game-changing speed on his side as well. The other is SP Noble Meyer, who is another potential ace in the making. Meyer is expected to debut in 2027 and Caba in 2028.
The Miami Marlins clearly have some interesting prospects on the way, that will hopefully rise up lists.
