The MLB Draft has come and passed and I analyzed what the Miami Marlins did. I did it in two parts by the way. What about who actually was signed? Remember, drafting the player is only the first part, they also have to be signed after. How are the later round picks doing? It's time to start taking a closer look once again...

The Miami Marlins still have some more draft picks to sign!

Taking off from where we last left off...let's start with the eighth round pick OF Jacob-Jenkins Cowart. Cowart is worth $211.6 K, but hasn't yet signed with the team. In fact, I'll spoil the rest of the article and tell you right now that most of the draft picks mentioned in this article have not yet signed with the team.

The ninth round pick 3B Dub Gleed is worth $191.30 K, but was signed at a bargain price of $188.80 K. This is definitely a step in the right direction. Fellow 3B 10'th round pick Michael Snyder is worth $180.70 K, but according to MLB.com has been signed for $17.50 K which appears to be a typo, or an amazing discount for the team.

Who is unsigned? This includes the next player, which is the eleventh round pick RHP Jack Faherty. The pitcher is worth $200k but has yet to sign. It's important to note that late picks don't usually make it to the Majors, but there are those that do and make an impact, so it's still worth it to bring them on board. The 12'th round pick C Connor Caskenette is worth $100k but is unsigned as well.

A pair of shortstops went in the 13'th and 14'th rounds. They are Cody Schier and Cam Clayton. Their pick value is $150 k each and both are still unsigned. C Coen Niclai went in the 15'th round, but no information has been provided. 1B Eric Rataczak went in the 16'th round and is worth $75 K but is unsigned.

The 17'th round pick was OF Micah McDowell worth $100 K and the 18'th round pick is LHP Nate Payne, who is worth $235 K. Neither has been signed. Rounding out the list are RHP Luke Lashutka (19'th round) worth $10 K and RHP Chase Sentala (20'th round) worth $50 K. None of them have been signed yet.
