Like every other week, we’ll take a look at the top performers of the last seven days.
Hitters
Peter O’Brien (NO)
O’Brien started this week with a .188/.333/.313 slashline in 14 games for the New Orleans Baby Cakes. In his last seven games, covering seven days, he’s hit safely in every one, with multiple hits in four. He’s gone 11-for-23 with six walks, eight runs, two doubles, six homers, 10 RBI and one stolen base. Now his slashline sits at .309/.449/.745.
Joe Dunand (JAX)
In five games this week for the Jumbo Shrimp, Dunand has gone eight-for-20 with six runs, three doubles, two homers, and six RBI.
Justin Twine (JAX)
Twine currently is on a 14-game hitting streak, and has multiple hits in 15-of-26 double-A contests with Jacksonville. In five games this week, Twine is nine-for-20 with a walk, eight runs, two doubles, four RBI, and two stolen bases.
Alvaro Montero (DSL)
In six games this week for the DSL Marlins, Montero has gone nine-for-20 with six walks, six runs, two doubles, one RBI, and one stolen base. Montero’s .323 average ranks him 10th in the DSL, and he’s sixth with a .444 OBP.
Davis Bradshaw (BAT)
Bradshaw started the week with the GCL Marlins, and ended with the Batavia Muckdogs. In six games between the two levels, he went nine-for-22 with two walks, three runs, three RBI, and six stolen bases.
Stone Garrett (JUP)
Garrett started the week on a rehab assignment with the GCL Marlins, and joined the Jupiter Hammerheads on August 14th. In six combined games, he went 10-for-26 with a walk, three runs, one double, two triples, one home runs, three RBI, and two stolen bases.
Jonathan Rodriguez (NO)
Rodriguez, who played in his 1000th minor league game on Saturday night, went six-for-21 in seven games for the Baby Cakes. He drew four walks, scored three runs, and hit a double, two homers, and six RBI.
Tristan Pompey (JUP)
Pompey appeared in six games this week for the Hammerheads. He was five-for-21 with six walks, five runs, a double, six RBI, and a stolen base.
Omar Lebron (GCL)
In five games for the GCL Marlins, Lebron was eight-for-20, hitting safely in each game. He drew a walk, with three runs, four doubles, a. homer, four RBI, and a stolen base.
Pitchers
Luis Palacios (DSL)
Palacios appeared in the DSL Marlins August 13th 6-1 win against the DSL Royals1. In three relief innings, he struck out five and allowed two hits, zero walks, and zero runs. He’s won six games without a loss this year, and is 10-0 through his minor league career. In this season, he’s carrying a .156 oppBA, a 0.59 WHIP, a 0.82 ERA, and 53 K’s in 54 2/3 innings. He’s walked three.

Karl Craigie (GCL)
Craigie struck out six in three near-perfect innings on August 15th, as the GCL Marlins topped the GCL Astros, 10-6. Craigie earned his first win of the season facing one over the minimum after hitting Juan Paulino with a pitch.
Juan Borges (DSL)
Borges is now in his third DSL season, and this week, struck out five in 4 2/3 scoreless innings over two games. He allowed two hits and a walk, dropping his ERA from 2.31 to 1.93.
Tyler Mitzel (BAT)
In two games this week for Batavia, Mitzel had a win and a loss. In his win, last Saturday, he struck out four in two scoreless innings. Mitzel has struck out 25 in 19 innings.
Vincenzo Aiello (JUP)
Aiello allowed two walks and struck one out in three scoreless innings over two games for the Hammerheads.
Josh Roberson (GCL)
Roberson started and won on August 17th, allowing one hit and no walks while striking out four in five innings against the GCL Nationals.
Robert Dugger (JAX)
Dugger struck out nine in seven shutout innings for the Jumbo Shrimp. He earned the win with 65-of-106 in the strikezone, while giving up five hits and three walks. He finished with a 75 GameScore.
Parker Bugg (JUP)
In three games this week for the Hammerheads, Bugg struck out six in four innings, while allowing zero runs on two hits and a walk.
Jameson McGrane (BAT)
McGrane struck out three in two innings for the Muckdogs. He has held opponents to a .180 average over 13 appearances, with 27 strikeouts, but has also given up 17 walks in 18 2/3 innings.
