Gone Fishin’ 5/6/19: Miami Marlins Minor League Report
The Miami Marlins came from behind to defeat the Chicago Cubs, 6-5 on Monday night…
…but that wasn’t the only thing happening in the Miami Marlins system. There were four games scheduled in their affiliate feeder system, and they played three of them.
Transactions
Four minor-league right-handed pitchers were involved in differing sorts of transactions for the Miami Marlins on Monday. They signed Dominican native Luis Tejada to a minor league deal a few days ago, but it was unreported on their website until last night. Cody Poteet, currently of the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp, was placed on the temporarily inactive list. Josh Roeder was assigned back to the Jupiter Hammerheads from Jacksonville, and Steven Farnworth was released from Jupiter.
