There are some good promotions coming up for Miami Marlins games in the 2025 season. At this point it looks like our best hope is to just see the younger players develop. That said, There are some interesting projections for the standings for the upcoming season. I will make my own projections closer to the season's beginning, and I'm sure more will come out in general, but these are quite interesting. It certainly looks like we need to wait for Peter Bendix and Bruce Sherman to turn the team around.

Projections for the 2025 Miami Marlins season are not promising.

Before we look at the projection for the Miami Marlins, it's a good idea to take a broader look at the projections for other teams. The New York Yankees are projected to win the American League East, which is predictable. I'm surprised that they're only projected to win 88 .7 games, when overall they seem to have actually gotten better. The Baltimore Orioles are projected to take the top AL Wild Card spot with 87.9 wins. I'm surprised that they're so close, when they got significantly worse.

The Minnesota Twins are projected to win the AL Central with 86.5 wins. Surprisingly, the Cleveland Guradians are projected to miss the playoffs with 79.8 wins. I don't see this happening at all. I could see the Kansas City Royals winning the division however. They're projected for 81.3 wins. The Texas Rangers are projected to win the AL West with 90.1 wins. I don't see Texas finishing with the best record in the AL, but they could win the division. The Houston Astros are projected for the second Wild Card with 87.7 wins. The Seattle Mariners are projected for the third with 86.2 wins.

Finally turning over to the National League, the Chicago Cubs are projected to dominate the NL Central and win it with 91 wins. I don't see that many wins, but I certainly see them winning the division. The Los Angeles Dodgers are projected to once again win the NL West and finish with the best record in the Major Leagues with 103.1 wins. I can see that. The San Diego Padres are projected for the second NL Wild Card with 87.4 wins. The Arizona Diamondbacks are projected for the third with 86.8 wins. I see Arizona as better than San Diego though.

The Atlanta Braves are projected to win the NL East with 92.5 wins, which I can see. The New York Mets are projected to take the top NL Wild Card spot with 90.8 wins. That's not happening. You heard it here, they're missing the playoffs. The Philadelphia Phillies are the better team and are only projected for 85.6 wins. The Washington Nationals are projected for 68.1 wins and finally the Miami Marlins are projected for a terrible 61 wins,
