This is the logo for the MLB Fan Cave.
It’s that time of year again, when thousands upon thousands of baseball fans apply for their chance to be part of the MLB Fan Cave! For those who don’t know what the Fan Cave is here is the break down from the MLB Fan Cave web site itself…
"“MLB Fan Cave hosts fan events, concerts, MLB player and celebrity appearances, as well as the Cave Dwellers who will attempt to watch every game of the MLB season while chronicling their experiences online through videos, blogs and social media. One eventual winner will be crowned before the end of the World Series.”"
The Fan Cave started in 2011 with 2 dwellers and increased its dwellers to 9 in 2012 and 2013. Unfortunately, no Marlins fan has ever been one of those 20 dwellers. Hopefully this year we can change that.
On December 1st I turned in my application to the Fan Cave to hopefully be the first Marlins fan dweller. Last year I came close by making it to the Top 52 and even got to spend some time in the Cave as the Miami Marlins Ultimate Fan Cave Crasher (you can read about my time there here 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 ). This year we at Marlin Maniac are going to try our hardest to get a Marlins fan in the cave, but we need your help.
Go on twitter and let the Fan Cave know by using their hash tag #mlbfc2014 and tell them that they need @latinoloc4rwf, a diehard Marlins fan, on this year. Go check out my two application videos on YouTube. Give it a thumbs up, comment on it, and tell your friends to do the same.
I believe with the help of Marlin Maniac, the fans of this site, and all the Miami Marlins fans out there we can get a Marlins Fan on the Cave this year. Let’s show the world that Marlin fans are the greatest fans out there! Let’s Go Fish!
